The peaches are hand colored aquatint engravings by revered English botanical artist William Hooker (1785-1865). They are sourced from his masterful work entitled Pomona Londinensis, which published London in 1818. Considered some of the most beautiful lifelike depictions of fruits ever published. The early nineteenth century prints are stunning in person.
