The craftsmanship required to produce such an antique print required the expertise of many people.  From the paper making and original illustration,  to the engraving and lithography,  to the incredible workmanship and talent required in the water color illumination.  Every step along the way was laborious and a life long skill as people did not change jobs as they do today.  Instead they served apprenticeships for years, sometimes 10 years to become an expert in their field.
